A completely disused site in the leafy area of Camberwell, South London is to be transformed into seven apartments with communal gardens. The outdoor space should maintain the lush green feel of the nearby conservation area, whilst also providing screening, dining and storage for bicycles.

Both front and rear gardens are planted with a similar palette, although formal at the front and with a woodland style at the back. Greens and whites are used throughout with variety provided in form and texture of foliage and flowers. Lots of trees are used to screen the site from neighbours as well as casting dappled shade and shelter for a natural, overgrown look.
