On a disused site in the heart of Chelsea, the owner was in the process of building a garden room as part of a renovation of the property. The main goal of this project was to fill the garden with as much greenery and plants as possible so the new building did not take away from the garden feel.
In order to maintain a peaceful and unified look across the garden, a restrained planting palette of just greens and whites was used. Variety in texture and form came through foliage and plant forms and as much vertical and horizontal space was used for planting, including green walls, living roofs and climbing plants on boundary walls.
