TECHNIQUE

I offer a range of services from simple advice through basic design to a full design and build service and ongoing maintenance.

Initial consultation

An initial visit will be arranged to discuss your needs, vision and approximate budget. I will take photographs and the write up a brief for the project.

Survey and Concept design

If you decide to go ahead, a survey of the garden will need to be carried out and initial designs can be put down in sketch and plan format. Ideas for materials, planting and other features are thought about at this stage, and discussions with structural engineers, lighting and water experts may take place.

Detailed design

This includes detailed plans, elevations and 3D visualisations, including seasonal planting plans.

Specification and Tender

You can, at this stage, take the design and continue with the building project yourself, or I can invite contractors to quote for the build and a detailed specification of all materials will be listed. The budget will be finalised. More detailing drawings may be required at this stage.

Project Management

The garden will be built to the detailed design drawings and I will oversee the project until completion.

Get in touch about any of these stages to discuss what I can do for you.
